India has so much promise and potential yet so many problems seem to get in the way. Sad, as so many of the people who come to the USA could and should be the ones who stay to try to right the listing ship? I can see why they leave. Modi government is far worse than we in the USA are led to believe. We know so little about it. Our media sources seem to gloss over the problems plaguing that nation. So focused on Afghanistan that we lose track of Pakistan and India. India spends way too much on "defense" which is really to reinforce Modi's plans for a Muslim free India? I didn't know this. The border regions author visits have such troubles. Rohyinga even factor in from Myanmar. Ethnic cleansing that goes basically un or underreported. Great book. Eye opening! One star? Must be Modi's review. Read great book about water scarcity, too, and India has grave problems with that. British presence in India was such an awful thing! After reading few pages i got the gist that it would be waste of my time. As i can not threw it in garbage as we respect books so gave it to my daughter to color it .
